In Bagno Vignoni, in 1987, finally Ornella opens the doors of a place. An environment, part of the famous thermal area, who together with his father Francesco and his mother Andreina totally renovated, ready to host thousands of lovers of goodness. Two rooms and a counter which become a shop, la Bottega di Cacio. The name of the shop derives from the nickname of Ornella’s father, Cacio. Big man but small of stature, as small as a penny cheese. A nickname, as often happens in Tuscany, which prevails over the name. Think that  grandchildren Costanza and Cecilia, today also a working in the shop, as children, they were convinced that it was his baptismal name. With Erika, the all-female circle closes that revolves around the venue, they are the ones who every day they take care of the cured meats, cheeses, of the wine, of the counter and finally of the garden making every stop in La Bottega di… Cacio unforgettable.
